Ah, Chernobyl. Чернобыль in Russian. Чорнобиль in Ukrainian. Whatever language you use, for many people, it simply means 'nuclear wasteland'. At the end of May 2008, whilst on a little break to Kiev, Ukraine, I had the opportunity to visit the Chernobyl Nuclear Complex and see its effects on the nearby abandoned city of Pripyat.
Whilst I purposely never intended to document my visit, I had a new camera to play with, am quite nosey anyway and can now impart whatever information I learned from my guides within this site: Cheyne Checks Chernobyl - Pripyat or just 'CCCP ' for short ;-)
Also, I want to display my pictures in as high a resolution as possible. This means, all thumbnail pictures will open up maximised when you click them.
